What We Do and Why we do it!

​One of the great aspects of my job is working with our member businesses and organization for the benefit of all our citizens.  We recently added the tagline “Your Community Connection” to the Falmouth Chamber logo because that is exactly how we see ourselves.  In the past, most Chambers focused strictly on the business and economic interests of an area, but the world is changing and Chambers need to adjust to the times if they are going to provide the best service to their members.  We are especially appreciative that the town of Falmouth includes us in discussions that impact our members and community and enjoy a productive working relationship with our Town Manager and Board of Selectmen.

We feel that Falmouth is a unique and very special town made up of people who really care for it and each other.  Community is central to our citizens and to us at the Chamber as well.  We sincerely believe that everyone deserves a seat at the table and understand that working with our neighbors for the good of all is just common sense.  Although everyone cannot always agree on every issue, providing a forum where our members can interact and express their opinions openly enables the Chamber to be part of the solution when addressing town-wide challenges. 

Our Board of Directors is not only made up of leaders from local businesses, but also non-profit groups, Falmouth Police, Falmouth Public Schools, the scientific community and healthcare because we embrace diversification and inclusion.  By encouraging different perspectives, we encourage collaboration and work toward real solutions for our members and the entire community of Falmouth.
