The 2026 Falmouth Citizen of the Year nomination forms are now available at the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce,
20 Academy Lane, or can be downloaded below.
Entries must be received by February 28th, 2026. Only nominations received this year will be reviewed by the Selection Panel. Please resubmit nominations from prior years. A list of past winners is included on the nomination form.
Nominees must live or work in Falmouth and their activities should be centered here. The Citizen of the Year will be recognized for leadership and performance above and beyond the scope of their paid profession, and they do not have to be a member of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. The selection will be made based on a broad scope of activities over the course of more than a year that make a lasting impact on the Falmouth community. No award will be made for a single activity, no matter how well executed, and no award is given posthumously.

Information about the Cape Cod Chamber/ Falmouth Chamber Affiliate Partnership
The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce is pursuing the formation of an integrated affiliate partnership through a two-party merger with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. This affiliate partnership will improve the long-term sustainability of both the Cape Cod Chamber and the Falmouth Chamber, while strengthening benefits and opportunities for Falmouth-based member businesses. Members will enjoy the benefit of regional visibility, advocacy on major issues like housing and the Cape Cod Bridges, and access to marketing, education, and event opportunities, both in Falmouth and across the Cape Cod region.
