The 300 Committee will host birding enthusiast Molly Cornell
on February 6 & February 8 at 10 am - noon.
Ms. Cornell will lead an adventure to see wintering ducks, mergansers, geese and swans that feed (and rest) in the saltwater inlets that lace the shores of Vineyard Sound. The plan is to check the Sound for loons, rafts of sea ducks and whatever else is out there!
Meet at the parking lot by the entrance to Falmouth Harbor on the Falmouth Yacht Club side. A carpool will drive from there to several birding hot spots, depending on where the open water is. Beginning birders are welcome, as always!
Dress for the weather, bring water and a snack, binoculars/scope if you have them.
