for a Business After Hours on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
The Nimrod Restaurant & Jazz Lounge will graciously host Business after Hours; enjoy the comfortable friendly atmosphere, warm fireplaces fine hors doeuvres and a glass of wine provided by your hosts Jim and Gwyn Murray. The nonprofit sponsor is the Woods Hole Film Festival. Now in it’s 19’th year the WHFF is more than a world class week long film festival. The Festival has a year round presence in our community, working with teachers and students in Morse Pond and Lawrence Schools providing their Film Maker in The Schools Program and the very popular Kid’s Day during the festival week. The Festival also works with individuals, businesses and other institutions to develop and present programs and events that further its goals. The successful partnerships with local restaurants and venues to bring world class films and music to our community has been a welcome small economic and social boost to our community. Please come meet some of WHFF’s board members & learn about the financial benefit to local business, future goals and pardon them if they brag just a little about Academy Awards and nominations.
Admission is $5 for members; $10 for non-members.
