Highfield Hall Hosts Arts & Alzheimer’s Initiative
Third Wednesday of the month, February through August
10:30 am to noon; Free
This program uses moderated conversations stimulated by artwork for those with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and their family caregivers. Moderated by facilitators trained through a grant from the Commonwealth Corps, each session provides caregivers with peer support and exposure to art, while allowing individuals with Alzheimer’s to connect with others on a meaningful, stress-free level.
Admission is free but sessions are currently limited to 10 participants and reservations are required.
