Meet Cape Cod Authors!

In celebration of Cape Cod Maritime Days, the Falmouth Public Library will welcome three local authors who will share their recent works. Theresa Barbo, local historian from the Yarmouth area will discuss THE PENDLETON
DISASTER: The Greatest Small Boat Rescue in Coast Guard History. Another historian from the Yarmouth area, Duncan Oliver, will explore the little known early days of whaling in his book CAPE COD SHORE WHALING: America’s First Whalemen. Mary Sicchio, Falmouth Historical Society archivist and Special Collections Librarian at Cape Cod Community College, will talk about the recent past in her book THE FORGOTTEN CAPE, 1940-1960.

The program will be held at the newly renovated Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street at 7 pm on Wednesday, May 21. 
This event is offered to the public FREE of charge through the generosity of the Trustees of the Falmouth
Public Library.
