Special Places Close to Home: Highlights from the Massachusetts Audobon's Mid and Upper Cape Sanctuaries and the Coastal Waterbrid Program
Ian Ives is the Director at Mass Audobon's Long Pasture, Ashumet and Skunkett River Wildlife Sanctuaries on Cape Cod, where he is responsible for the ecological management of the properties, community outreach, advocacy and environmental education.
One of his primary goals is to engage the community and develop new programs and volunteer opportunities to expand activities at the Mass Audobom wildlife sanctuaries.
Hi beautifully illustrated talk will introduce these three magical places and their residents: Ashumet Holly Reservation in Hatchville, Long Pasture in Yarnouth Port and Skunkett River in Osterville.
Ives will also talk about the Shorebird Program at Long Pasture.
