"Mastersinger by the Sea" Spring Concert

The Mastersingers by the Sea are proud to present their Spring Concert, which will take place at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, 91 Main Street in Falmouth on Saturday evening April 5th at 8:00 pm and Sunday afternoon April 6th at 3:00pm. There will also be a performance on April 4th at the Fireman Center For The Performing Arts at Tabor Academy in Marion, MA.
The chorus accompanied by musicians from the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra will sing Franz Josef Haydn’s masterpiece “The Creation”. Soloists are Rebecca Grimes, Soprano, Thomas Oesterling, Tenor and John Murelle, Baritone. All of which are under the direction of Dr. David MacKenzie who also is Director of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.
There will be a pre-concert talk for ticket holders, which will take place one hour prior to each concert. Audience members will be invited to a reception after the Sunday afternoon performance. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at Eight Cousins Books and Inkwell Bookstore in Falmouth. Also at Market Street Bookshop in Mashpee Commons or on line at www.mastersingersbythesea.org.
