Friday Night Concerts In the Park
Concerts are planned in Peg Noonan Park, Main Street, Falmouth, every Friday in July and August, beginning at 6 PM. Scheduled performances include:
July 4: Fiddler Nikki Engstrom, one-half of the musical duo Stanley and Grimm, will perform interpretations of traditional music such as jigs and reels.
July 11: Singer, pianist, and trumpet player Kami Lyle will give a jazz performance.
July 18: The Elbows will present a program of music for children.
July 25: Liam Maguire, owner of Liam Maguire’s Irish Pub on Main Street, will perform traditional Irish favorites.
August 1: Tripping Lily will perform folk-inspired harmonic pop-rock on mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and string bass.
August 8: Stage Door Canteen, a 14-piece swing band, will perform traditional big band music.
August 15: The Toe Jam Puppet Band will present a program for children and adults of original songs, puppetry, and storytelling.
August 22: Donna and Eddie Scheer, vocalist and pianist respectively, will perform.
All concerts are sponsored by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and First Citizens Bank.
