Event Description:

Art Explorations: A program for children with special needs
Jeannine Valle M.Ed Severe Special Eduction for ages 2.9-4

Fridays, June 22 through July 27, 9 to 10:30 am

This summer art program will be customized according to the needs of the participating children and caregivers. Each class is a multi-sensory experience including a variety of art mediums, messy play and physical play. A different theme - color, shapes, painting, the ocean, famous artists, and art and literature - will be explored each week. Parents will meet with the teacher a month before the beginning of the class to make sure the appropriate accommodations are made.

Jeannine Valle has worked in the field of special education for over ten years and is particularly interested in art and preschool curriculum.

$125 per child with caregiver for the six-week session.
