Falmouth Yacht Club and the C420 Class Association cordially invite you to attend the 2012 C420 North American Championship regatta July 20 - 23, 2012.

Notice of Race

The 2012 C420 NAs will be held on the waters of Vineyard Sound, just south of Falmouth Yacht Club (NOAA Chart 13237). The sailing area is just minutes from FYC, and like the sailing area in neighboring Buzzard's Bay, Falmouth enjoys a traditional southwest sea breeze during the summer.

Race management will be handled by competent, qualified and experienced race officers. The PRO for the regatta is Ryan Richards, winner of the 1992 C420 NAs, assisted by brothers Ryan (1994 Beetle Cat Champion), Michael (1996 C420 NA Champion), the staff of the Falmouth Harbor Sailing School, led by Mike O'Connor, varsity sailing coach at Harvard University, and the Race Committee at FYC.

The town of Falmouth offers many attractions for those not directly involved in the racing, and ferries from Falmouth and nearby Woods Hole provide transportation to the island of Martha's Vineyard. Ferries to Nantucket are available in Hyannis, only 20 miles east of Falmouth.

All activities will be centered around Falmouth Yacht Club, and boats will be stored overnight on the beaches and parking lots near FYC.
