In the spirit of the 2012 What’s Falmouth Reading? selection SEEN THE GLORY by John Hough, Jr., the Falmouth Public Library is offering a movie series with a Civil War theme. The public is invited to enjoy notable films on six consecutive Saturdays.
On February 18, the classic film SHENANDOAH (1965, Not Rated) will be shown, starring James Stewart and Doug McClure. A Virgina Farmer does not support either side in the Civil War until his son is taken prisoner. Seeing the horrors of war first-hand, he is forced to take a stand.

Blueberry tea, corn meal (nasamp) and roast duck will be served at a special Wampanoag table with Native interpreters explaining the food offerings and artifacts on display.
